Cooperation

We are currently looking for people who would like to help developing the PolishLinux.org vortal.
Authors:
If you can write good articles and know GNU/Linux or BSD well, we could cooperate. We are looking for people who would like to write howtos and articles about desktop Linux. There are lots of yet uncovered stuff, so we can help you to choose the topic for the article if you don’t have your own ideas (here is a list of proposed topics). We are a community vortal so we strongly prefer volunteer help. Still, we are willing to pay for very good articles. The amount depends on the popularity of the article and can be negotiated personally.
Distro sections maintainers
We are looking for people who would like to maintain the following distro sections: Aurox, openSUSE, Fedora, Arch Linux, Xandros, MEPIS, DesktopBSD and PC-BSD. Also, we are planning to add Zenwalk and PCLinuxOS to the list, so users of these systems are strongly encouraged to join PolishLinux.org now!
If you prefer to stay anonymous you can still help by editing the distribution data on PolishLinux.org Wiki. No registration is required there and all the descriptions are automatically transferred to the vortal distribution comparison tables.
Translators
If you know both English and Polish, you can help with translating the articles both ways. If you know some other language and would like to produce a vortal version for this language, we are also very positive (remember that it’s a lot of work though).
Proof-readers
As some of the articles are translated from Polish or written by non-native speakers, proof-reading of the articles is essential. Currently we have two proof-readers (chaddy and Steven) but we still need additional persons to help us!
Banner exchange
If you have a website concerning GNU/Linux or you think that your users may like to check out Linux, you are welcome to link to our website - here is our media page with banners. We’re willing to link back, depending on your website size, on a banner or under the Google Ads (which appear on every page except the home page).
Any other kind of cooperation will be considered as well, so don’t be afraid to ask.
In any case, feel free to contact Borys Musielak (michuk) for details concerning the cooperation.
