My son is an avid reader. One of the problems is that he reads so much we never know what he has read or hasn't. So just yesterday, I have him creating what I told him are "book reports" using Tellico. I have been using it for years.

In particular, I like the ability to export it to html which I haven't done in a while.....

One comment though, you say it was first released in "August 2006". That is not true. I don't know when it was released but I have been using it for 3+ years.
