You seem to have an extensive set of Linux reviews, yet there is one glaring ommission… PCLinuxOS.

Curt: Feel free to edit the comparison data for PCLinuxOS on our wiki. All is transmitted to the vortal as soon as it's complete!

You seem to have an extensive set of Linux reviews, yet there is one glaring ommission... PCLinuxOS. The latest version (english only) being 2007 test release 3, soon to be test release 4 (possibly later today), quickly followed by 2007 final. The test release 3 is an amazingly stable, user friendly distro. I'd give it 6 ****** on a scale of 1* to 5* Certainly worth checking out, it's currently rated number 4 on distrowatch.

I am new to Linux and at the moment my favorite combination is Edgy 6.1 with KDE 3.5. Could you please let me know when e17 is in the same stage of completion as KDE. I have seen a couple of pictures and comments on www.modfree.org and it would be nice to give it a try.

Any advice would be very welcome. Many thanks!

You should write something about Solaris too. Something like Nexenta, wich it looks like a very interesting OS and a great idea.
Tell us, pros and cons of it and various comparisons. It could be a good idea and at least for me OpenSolaris looks very interesting. So why not talk abit about it ?
