GIMP is the image manipulation program for GNU/Linux. It directly competes with the de facto market standard — Adobe Photoshop.
By publishing multiple GIMP tutorials we are trying to prove that it’s already a viable alternative for Photoshop users and we strongly encourage to give it a try.
Here are some GIMP articles we already published on PolishLinux.org…
- GIMP tricks: Neon inscription
- GIMP tricks: Rotating Sphere with GAP
- GIMP Tricks: Chocolate bar with GIMP
- GIMP tricks: Snooker ball as a pseudo 3d object
- GIMP tricks: Teeth whitening
- GIMP tricks: Liquid rescaling by example
Stay tuned since there is more stuff coming. If you would like to contribute by adding your GIMP tutorial to the list, feel free to contact us!
