Fedora Core description updated
[ Wednesday, 20 September 2006, michuk ]
Thanks to Rahul Sundaram of the Fedora Project, we managed to correct the Fedora Core description on our vortal (mainly removed a lot of outdated information). We are still looking for a new Fedora editor for PolishLinux.org!
Although the description has been updated, we still think it should be extended in some parts to provide a comprehensive review of Fedora objectives and features. The corrections have been made also in the feature comparison table. You can take a look at some of the comparisons and perhaps suggest some further refinements:
The update was possible after Rahul’s reaction on my post on the Fedora Forum.
As you can see, we really do lack a Fedora Core editor, so if you are willing to help, you are strongly encouraged to contact us now! Another update will be needed when Fedora Core 6 is unveiled (scheduled for October 2006).
