Ulteo Online Desktop and your Ulteo installation (Application System) are two differents systems. You can keep your data on the Ulteo server (files you made on Ulteo Online Desktop or transfered there) and you don't have to sync them with the system on your hard drive. And you can keep data on your hdd and don't sync them with Ulteo server. You have only ONE directory ("sync" on the desktop) which is synced, all other data on your local hdd and /home directory on Ulteo Online Desktop is not synced. Both systems are totally separate and you can use them as separate systems. Ulteo just gives you the opportunity to sync some data between them, but ONLY if YOU want :) As I said before: only "sync" directory is synced, no other data is shared. Ulteo Online Desktop and your Ulteo installation (Application System) are two differents systems.
