im downloading yoper 3.0 live cd, and i’ll let you guys know how it goes.. it looks rather promisng.. im using a laptop that works smoothly with bulky distros, but would rather max out the speed of my comp..
the live CD (3.0) is incredible. it’s more responsive than my Fedora Core 6. a live CD that launches programs instantly and is overall very fast using Beryl is pretty impressive.
if the live CD is estimated to by seven times slower than the actual install, this would mean that it would e.g. take 0/7 seconds to launch Firefox
I’m waiting on some new hardware. once I get that I’m going Yoper full time. I’ll let you know if it sucks.

if ur used 2 windows the lack of customizin wont be much of a problem but r ther any other drawbacks
