		<description>I don&#039;t think the decision was political. But the information from PKN is kind of blurry. They claimed that KT 182 is &quot;better prepared&quot; for this issue. But it seems strange since KT 171 was good enough to take a decision concerning ODF last year.
Anyway, in KT 182 there are a lot of people (currenty 38, including a representative from Foundation for Free and Open-Source Software) and it&#039;s not possible to guess how many of them are representatives of their own companies/organizations and how many are IBM/Microsoft lobbysts. 

We&#039;ll have to see when the voting takes place (which is on August 30th). Of course we&#039;re going to inform you about the decision as soon as we get it.</description>

It sounds suspiciously like that M$ could see ahead of time that KT 171 would not be a push over so plans were made instead to push KT 171 out of the way and hand-pick members for KT 182.</description>
