Domain name contest!
[ czwartek, 29 Czerwiec 2006, michuk ]
As the translation of the vortal to English is progressing (in huge steps) we are forced to finally find a great domain name for the English version. Current en.jakilinux.org doesn’t look good for non-Polish speakers
There is a poll on the main site with some suggestions, but we are looking for more innovative ideas for the domain name. The ideal name should associate somehow with Linux or open-source software and in the same time suggest that the vortal is a central place for all hesitating which distro to choose and how to start the „Linux adventure”.
So, please give your wild shots (checking if the proposed domain name doesn’t exist already) and post them as comments to this note. Thanks in advance. We hope that the new vortal will match your high expectations!

printf("hello world");
, - Block quote:
Block quote

Thanks for all the comments (especially on the LinuxQuestions thread). The domain name has been already selected so there is no need to send me more proposals. We’ll start using it when the new design of the vortal is ready (probably in September or later). For now I’d like to keep it secret for a while
OK, it’s not secret anymore: http://polishlinux.org/vortal/polishlinuxorg-got-out-of-beta/
